WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (Nov. 14, 2006) — The WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour, in a unique partnership with Avalanche Racing Team and Polaris Industries, has unveiled the Avalanche Racing Crew Member for a Day contest. The contest will give fans the opportunity to work with Avalanche Racing Team’s world-class Snocross crew as an official crew member at one National event during the 2006-2007 Tour. Fans can enter on WPSA’s web site, www.PowerSportsTour.com. Entries are now open for the AMSOIL Duluth National, scheduled for Nov. 24-26 at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn.
Along with participating in race-day activities, the Crew Member for a Day will receive a free Z1R helmet. If an Avalanche Racing sled makes the podium in the finals, the fan will receive up to $1,000 in products and discount certificates. Winners will be notified via e-mail five business days prior to the race and will receive a free one-day pass at the event. Nameswill be drawn randomly from entries filed no later than five days prior to an event. All entrants will also receive a new snowmobile bonus rebate with up to $1,500 off the purchase of any new/unused Polaris snowmobile.
