How long have you been racing for?
I have been racing for 5 years now.
How did you start racing?
I saw pictures of my dad when he raced when before I was born and I decided I wanted to give racing a try. My parents bought me my first four wheeler and the rest is history.
What ATV do you currently ride?
I ride a Honda 450r.
What was your highlight of 2006?
I won my first holeshot and race in the Open A class with the guys. It was the first STQRA race of the season, and my dad made me leave the gate late the first moto because he did not want me to get tangled up in the first corner, the second moto I told him I think I can holeshot these guys if you would let me try. After a heated discussion he decided to let me try, he lined up with us on his Honda 90 in case something happened, which then turned out to be every race we had. I got the holeshot and won the race, my mom was crying (as usual) and my dad was speechless (for the first time ever).
What are your plans for 2007?
To race the entire WPSA series, and as many of the GNC’S as possible.
Which rider you look up to the most?
Well I have two. First is John Natalie he is as far as I am concerned the fastest guy on a quad. He is extremely determined and focused on achieving his goals. Second is Angela Butler, she is a fierce competitor and an awesome person.
Does racing affect your school work?
No, not really. We have a good relationship with my school, as long as I keep my grades up and turn in my make up work in a timely manner they are supportive of my racing.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself racing with the guys and hopefully have won a championship in the Women’s A class.
How do you prepare for races? Training etc?
I go to the gym, ride a bicycle, run and of course ride my quad.
Any sponsors you would like to thank?
I would like to thank Fox racing shox, ATV Fourplay, Hiper Tech wheels, Splendora Mx Park, Rage Atv Racing and of course the best parents a girl can have. I appreciate all of your help, I could not do this without you.
