Carrie Auchter

At 31 years old Carrie Auchter is making a career out of racing and all it contains. After just a couple of years she has realized her calling and discovered hidden talents and new found passion.

Beginning on the local series circuit Carrie quickly learned that she desired a faster pace and higher levels of competition and began planning and building for the 2005 GNC series. In the last moto of her final race tragedy struck on a set of doubles that broke both lower bones in her wrist. They were set and set into a cast and her riding would be over for a short time. Two short weeks later while caring for her young son she fell back onto her wrist re-breaking the same bones! Surgery was her next option. She now has a permanent plan and seven screws in her left wrist.

During her down time Carrie worked with the Earlywine family at their indoor motocross facilty helping out with odd and ends. She quickyl took over the task of marketing and has made a lasting inpression on many racers from both quads and dirt bikes. She was able to make possible one of the best banquets and prize give aways only rivaled by the national level events. She is continuing this task and has confidence she can offer the same great prize for all the hard work the racers put in.

During a long and hard working summer Carrie also built the strength back up in her wrist and was able to compete and finish an entire winter series with a second place finish. She then set her sites on the GNC MX series again and began planning and working towards her goal. Running the Woman’s Sport class proved to be what she was seeking in track performance, but not exactly what she had planned on for enjoyment. So after long talks with friends and family she decided to take on the Woman’s Production class. Leaving part of that question to the much more experienced woman racers Carrie made the move up and had more fun racing than she had in a long time.

Due to scheduling and life Carrie is running an abridged season this summer but looks for a strong local finish and taking the top in the upcoming winter series.

Carrie is departing the AEM team to spend more time working at her full time passion as the marketing manager for the indoor racing facility. The entire AEM team and myself personally want to wish her all the luck in the world and know she will make a name for herself.
